Ellen DeGeneres in NYC, you go girl !

Television Thursday, November 23 by Guest

NYC, November 21th, cold but sunny weather; Ellen DeGeneres has moved her show to the biggest American city for Thanksgiving, as she did last year. A line of 150 people is waiting to enter in the Jazz Lincoln Center, Ellen and her staff has set their studio in the front of Central Park, amazing !

At last, we are invited to get into the “Riff raff room” where butlers offer “champagne’ and some little tasty stuff to eat; the Ellen store is offering tee-shits, caps, bags and the famous boxer to buy. We move into the studio, and after an informal contest of dancing, and some Ellen’ shirts given, the show is beginning: she’s there, live, as beautiful as she appears on TV ! Smiling, dancing, dedicated to her audience, she’s lighting up the show….

The guest of the day is President Bill Clinton; she’s a little bit nervous even if she knows him.
The show is taped exactly as it is broadcast, without any breaks, except commercial ones. Reports in the city are already taped and are broadcast to the audience, as the show is going on. Some cuts to keep the best of the interview and to fit in a 1 hour-talk-show, and that’s it ! Very impressive and professional ! She’s surrounded by a solid and very kind staff, telling her what to do, what to say, what is the next segment,... Her real creativity stands in her comedian’s talent to improvise with guests or audience. After the show, she doesn’t let her audience without telling some words to thank people; she really loves people and what she does, it so obvious…

Just before leaving the Lincoln Center, she’s taking some minutes with fans for photos and autographs, with smile and fun. Disposal, adorable, you go girl !
